REMCO held its first beauty contest

The first Miss REMCO-2009 beauty contest was held in Podolsk for female employees of REMCO company and its constituents – ZiO-Podolsk machine engineering plant and Engineering Company ZIOMAR. The screening done on February 26 resulted in three finalists out of six pretenders: Yevgenia Mironova (process engineer of Shop 7 at ZiO-Podolsk), Daria Stolbkova (expert of the corporate support unit at REMCO), and Yelena Iliychova (timekeeper of Shop 65 at ZiO-Podolsk). The winner’s name was voiced at the International Women’s Day celebration concert on March 5.

The adjudicators were fascinated by resourcefulness, knowledge, charm and acting technique demonstrated by the girls. Still, the Miss REMCO-2009 title could go to only one of them. The majority of votes gave the title to Yevgenia Mironova. The adjudicators’ chair – REMCO director general Boris Vasiliev – handed over the winner’s tiara to the girl. Yelena Iliychova got the prize in the nomination “Miss Energy” and Daria Stolbkova got the Audience Choice Award. In addition to prizes from REMCO’s management, the contest winner, Yevgenia Mironova, will have an opportunity of doing an advanced professional training course in one of the cities in Russia.
