It’s uneasy, by nature, for any girl to publicize her beauty. Still, putting my vanity at risk, I ran for the international Internet-based contest “Miss Atom-2007” and won one of its nominations, “The Best Debut”. It was a great pleasure and honor for me to represent Bilibino nuclear power plant at the Award Ceremony. Owing to the participation in the Internet-based contest the Bilibino folks got an opportunity of demonstrating that live is seething beyond the Arctic Circle as well, and not only strong but also beautiful people are working for the benefit of nuclear power there.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the contest organizers who succeeded in creating the conditions which do not hinder the business process and do not require much time. I send my thanks to all who supported me and voted for me. How has my life changed after taking part in “Miss Atom-2007” contest? Though there have been no apparent changes during the passed year, my world perception has changed; I charged with positive energy, the circle of my acquaintances has broadened. This change is still producing positive effects on both my work and my family. I wish all girls to have the courage to get involved in the contest!
