February 4 Nuclear.Ru web-portal launched the 5-th International Beauty Contest
“Miss Atom-2008”. The contest is open for female employees of enterprises and organizations within the Rosatom’s system, contractors and cooperating companies, nuclear enterprises and organizations of the former Soviet Union, nuclear research and development institutes as well as students and post graduates of nuclear education establishments.
“We hope girls will be as active this year as they did in 2007, Ilya Platonov, the Nuclear.Ru project director said. “On our part we will try to make this jubilee event a high point.” The contest will be held from February 4 till March 7 in two stages. At the first stage the contestants’ questionnaires are getting registered.

“Miss Atom-2008” website visitors can vote on-line for the contestants; winners will be determined by the voting results. The contest General Sponsor is Atomenergoprom. Support is provided by Kazatomprom and Atompromresursy. Information partners are RIA Novosti, Atompressa newspaper, and Vestnik Atomproma title.
